How It All Works

MEET YOUR SPEECH, FEEDING & AAC THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Sydney!

Sydney Howard, pediatric speech-language pathologist and founder of Sound Bites Speech & Feeding Therapy.

Welcome to Sound Bites! I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist passionate about helping children in Greenwood Village and South Denver communicate with confidence, feel more comfortable at mealtimes, and find the tools they need to express themselves.

My connection to this work is personal. I experienced a speech delay as a child, so I understand how meaningful the right support can be for children and their families.

This experience guides my compassionate, family-centered approach. By listening to your concerns and learning what matters most to your family, I tailor therapy to your child’s unique strengths and goals.

Through play, everyday routines, and caregiver collaboration, I keep therapy engaging while providing practical strategies to support progress between sessions.

Questions about insurance, payment, or getting started?

  • “For the first time, I felt like someone really understood what my child needed.”

Sydney made my child feel comfortable right away, and I never felt like I was just sitting on the sidelines. She explained things in a way that made sense, gave us practical ideas to use at home, and celebrated every little win with us. Watching my child become more confident and able to communicate has meant more to our family than I can put into words.

    — Emily R., Parent

  • “Sydney gave us our family mealtimes back.”

Before working with her, every meal felt stressful and exhausting. Sydney made our child feel safe, helped us understand what was really going on, and gave us strategies we could actually use at home. We watched our child become more comfortable with food, try things we never thought they would, and come to the table with less fear. The difference in our child and in our whole family has been incredible.

    — Megan T., Parent

  • “Sydney gave our child a way to communicate—and gave us the confidence to support them.”

Sydney understood our child’s communication needs in a way we hadn’t experienced before. She helped us find an AAC system that truly fit, taught us how to use it naturally at home, and made sure we felt confident every step of the way. Now our child is communicating more, showing us more of their personality, and connecting with us in ways we never thought possible.
